What is the Shuffle Board carnival game rental?
Shuffle Board is a carnival game from Funtastic Events in Longview, TX where players slide a puck down a lane to knock down bowling pins. The game is 2 by 6 feet, needs a 6 by 8 foot setup area, and fits ages 5 to 70. It starts at $64 for up to 6 hours, with delivery, setup, and pickup included.
Two Pucks, One Lane, and Stubborn Pins
Slide the puck, topple the pins
The aim is to slide a puck down the lane and knock down the bowling pins. It is shuffleboard with a bowling twist, and most players figure out the idea after one watch.
Pins that do not stay down
The tricky part is keeping them down. The pins can bounce back up, and a hit that looks good does not always count. That is where the groans come from.
Two attempts per turn
Each turn gives a player two attempts. Use the first to test the speed and the second to correct, and the players who think about force and angle come out ahead.
Running a Shuffle Board Tournament
With two attempts per turn, rounds are quick to score.
A bracket for the youth group
Pair off the youth group and run a bracket. Each round takes only a few turns, so a church night can fit in a whole tournament and still leave time for snacks.
Teams at the company picnic
Split the office into teams and add up pins down after each turn. Ages 5 to 70 means the kids of coworkers can compete, too.
A relaxed spot at a birthday
Place Shuffle Board off to the side of the party and let guests wander over between cake and games. Nobody has to wait for a full group to start a round.
Setting Up a Six Foot Lane
Shuffle Board is a lane, so you want a straight stretch of ground.
Two by six feet of lane
The game measures 2 feet by 6 feet, and we ask for a 6 by 8 foot setup area. That gives players room to stand at the near end and the next team room to cheer.
