What is the Canyon Crossing floor is lava game rental?

Canyon Crossing is an interactive game from Funtastic Events in Longview, TX where players leap from ball to ball to reach the far side while the floor is pretend lava. The three balls move when you land on them, so it is harder than it looks. It fits ages 5 to 25, needs 3 outlets and a 25 by 35 foot setup area, and starts at $455 for up to 6 hours with delivery, setup, and pickup included. It is a floor is lava game turned into a full inflatable course.

How a Floor Is Lava Inflatable Crossing Works

Three balls between you and the other side

Players start at one end and jump from ball to ball until they reach the far end. Each ball shifts the moment someone lands on it, so nobody gets to stand still and plan the next hop.

The floor is lava, the landing is cushioned

Everyone in line agrees the floor is lava, and that is half the entertainment. If a player slips off, the inflated landing cushions the fall and that player heads to the back of the line to try again.

Harder than it looks from the line

Spectators always think they can do it in three easy jumps. It tests jumping skill, speed, and agility, and younger kids often scramble across more nimbly than the adults who were cheering them on.

Running Canyon Crossing at a Field Day or Festival

The listing is for ages 5 to 25, which covers elementary kids, middle schoolers, and a college age youth group on one unit.

Line up, cross, repeat

One player crosses at a time while everyone else counts or cheers. Time each crossing on a phone and the line turns into a leaderboard before the first hour is over.

A natural partner for the obstacle course

If your field day already has a course, Canyon Crossing is the add-on that gives kids something different to try between races. Pair it with Vertical Rush and you have two very different tests of speed and agility.

One attendant on the unit

The rental listing calls for 1 attendant to keep the line moving and watch the crossing. If you would rather not tie up a volunteer, we can add a Staff Attendant to your order.

Yard Space and Power for Canyon Crossing

This is one of our bigger interactive units, so measure the spot before you book.

A 20 by 30 foot unit needs a 25 by 35 foot spot

We set up on grass, dirt, asphalt, or concrete, and we need at least 4 feet of access to reach the setup area. Send us your measurements through the contact page and we will confirm it fits.

Three outlets, each on a good circuit

The listing calls for 3 outlets, and each blower should be on its own 20 amp circuit so nothing trips mid crossing. A park or open field with no power can add Party Power.

Early arrival, anchored unit, pickup after

Our crew generally arrives one to three hours before your start time, and that setup time never counts against your rental. We anchor Canyon Crossing and pick it up when your rental ends.
